About Us
Thay K'i Anint'i was born from a vision to create cultural programming for individuals in addictions aftercare. Created by an individual in recovery, designed for the people, by the people. At Thay K'i Anint'i, we are driven by a deep-rooted desire to support the recovery and healing journeys of individuals within our community.
We are a safe space for individuals at any stage in their recovery healing journey and for their families. For those with the desire to be in recovery, new in recovery, a trailblazer with many years or recovering from a recent relapse. We also work with families of individuals in recovery.
State of Emergency
The Yukon issued a Substance Use Health Emergency on January 20,2022 due to the opioid related deaths. Since 2016, the Yukon has had over 100 deaths from over doses since then and the number continues to rapidly climb.
Our people say they have no time to grieve anymore, there are too many deaths. Not only individuals in addictions are affected by addictions,
addictions affect the entire family and community. We are all suffering by the high number of losses the Yukon is facing.
Our Vision
Creating partnerships for innovative and evolving cultural programming in Yukon communities to bridge the gap in the holistic health and aftercare sector.
Our Mission
Thay K’i Anint’i is designed to assist individuals, at their own pace, to be confident and to make healthy, peaceful and informed life choices through cultural programming in recovery, wellness & self-care.
